About the Job

This Technical Lead will be the first key hire in Cluj, Romania for the Business Systems Team to help support the company’s explosive growth. They will be the foundation that we build a team around in Cluj to support 8x8's business systems .  The business systems team supports the applications that do the quoting, ordering, supporting and billing of our global products. They will assist in hiring, mentoring  and leading staff who will comprise of business analysts, QA engineers and developers. The main responsibilities of this position will be to implement new enhancements to our business systems to continue to improve our Lead to Cash and Support processes.  They will also support our post deployment support experience for our customer base who are mainly 8x8 employees.   



  • Grow and Lead a new team to support 8x8's back office business systems, mainly utilizing the salesforce platform
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions
  • Design and implement custom business systems solutions
  • Provide hands-on, expert-level technical assistance to junior staff members in the office that are part of the Business Systems Team
  • Demonstrate technical thought leadership
  • Provide detailed estimates for the completion of solutions


Required Skills

  • Team leadership background
  • Knowledge of CRM software is an advantage, knowledge of Salesforce software is a plus
  • Advanced skills in source code control; test code execution; package deployment, continuous integration and other technical tasks related to the Salesforce
  • Excellent communication/collaboration skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion required.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies preferred
