About the Job



The Operations Analyst (OA) is responsible for developing and using tools needed for operational efficiency of the 8x8 deployment and professional services teams, including budgeting, tracking, and forecasting. The OA will contribute to the vision and strategy for providing 8x8 services, and be responsible for tracking performance and providing decision support for improving revenue and margin. A primary objective will be to measure the health of operations relative to goals, targets, and budgets, and to identify areas for improvement in all aspects of services operations. The OA will work closely with other 8x8 departments to ensure all business tools are matching the company’s needs, and will also build weekly and monthly reports and dashboards based on agreed upon metrics. This position is at 8x8 headquarters and reports to Operations Analyst.



  • Builds and manages tools for tracking deployment project statuses and equivalent reports
  • Builds and manages tools for tracking project costs, incl. time spent
  • Validates all team members are submitting data elements timely and accurately
  • Validates the trend of transitioning projects from deployment to support is positive
  • Works with Finance department to gather company’s financial data needed for deployment financial reports
  • Works with other 8x8 departments to build tools and processes for improving the efficiency of deployments
  • Identify non-value added processes within the department and seeks solutions
  • Regularly prepares and distributes financial reports and dashboards to management



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or a Technical field with minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably in Professional Services (PS) for Technology company
  • Business application software knowledge in Salesforce.com (or similar CRM) and a Professional Services Automation (PSA) system are highly desired
  • Must have extremely strong MS Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
