About the Job



8x8 is looking for a technical trainer, adept in classroom delivery via virtual and live instructor environments. In this versatile and fast-paced role you will deliver technical training for customers, partners and internal technical personnel in ILT and virtual classroom environments. As part of the training team, you will also assist with the development of new content and updating existing content. You will work closely with Sales, Product Management, company subject matter experts, and training team members.




  • Deliver the full stack of technical and end user courses in live classroom and virtual environments
  • Train partners and customers remotely in multiple time zones, working flexible schedules as required
  • Travel to and delivery classes at partner and customer locations—national and international
  • Utilize 8x8 templates to update and modify classes as needed for tailored delivery based on partner or customer requirements
  • Create and deliver technical workshops to augment core curriculum
  • Work with instructional designers to assist with content development
  • Assist with maintaining courseware



  • Proven experience in technical training
  • Skilled in classroom management
  • Demonstrated ability to create instructional content
  • Must be proficient with MS PowerPoint and Word
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud computing and telephony is a plus
  • Knowledgeable about working in a SaaS environment
  • Must be a self-starter, organized, and excellent with time management
  • Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to improvise when needed
  • Self-motivated and action-oriented
  • Technical Certifications a plus
  • Up to 80% travel
