About the Job

Reporting to our VP of PMO this Sr. Program Manager will lead cross- functional global initiatives that are focused on increasing revenue from our global channel partner community.    Working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Support, Product Management and Business Systems this person is responsible for leading the successful launch of programs that will be on schedule and with superior quality.   For each program this person will need to understand the business case, functional requirements along with the technologies to implement the program.

Overall mission is to launch projects tracked by meeting stated schedule with successful sales and partner enablement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead 8x8 cross- functional team in planning and executing partner programs
  • Coordinate & track readiness/risks of all requirements across functional groups including Sales, Finance, Marketing, Support, Training, Product Management, and Business System team.  
  • Drives the weekly Program Management review meeting with executives and cross functional leadership team
  • Build scalable process and infrastructure to track all new product launch including KPI to measure pre and post release success.
  • Manage product communications, upward and downward through organization; escalate issues and present mitigation/solutions to cross-functional executive teams
  • Influence channel program development to ensure a superior end to end partner journey
  • Communicate system requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with cross-functional teams


Key Qualifications

  • Typically requires 5 to 7 years industry experience in Technical Program Management or NPI Management
  • Good understanding and/or exposure to Channel/partner sales structure  
  • 2 plus years working in an Agile development environment is ideal
  • Strong results and detail oriented leadership experience required
  • Proven leader with hands on approach; self-motivated, proactive and results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to present to management
  • Experience in leading partner/channel programs with a keen eye on automation with technology
  • Ability to drive solutions across multiple cross-functional teams
  • Consolidate detailed and extensive cross-functional data into concise executive briefings
  • BS/BA Degree; Engineering degree and/or MBA a plus
  • Must have 3 to 5 solid years of agile development program management experience
