Position Summary
8x8, Inc. is looking for an HR Operations Analyst located in San Jose, CA to help drive facilitate an exceptional experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. The HR Operations team serves as the backbone to Human Resources department and supports its overall programs and systems. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global HR Operations and Systems, this position will own data related transactions for the HR organization. Responsible for developing and implementing best in class solutions for HR service delivery, managing assigned vendor relationships, performance and implementation, participating in strategic and innovation sessions, owning and driving process improvement in various areas, developing communications, evaluating compliance, and assisting with other HR programs.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage data transactions for HRMS, including new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay rate changes
  • Prepare personnel files and maintain accurate records management as we convert to electronic records management
  • Verifies and maintain employee documentation on a global perspective (i.e. Form I-9) to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to and resolving inquiries from employees
  • Document and review existing HR processes to analyze scope for reengineering and lead redesign initiatives toward the modern best practice
  • Participate in HR projects including, but not limited to, audits, systems implementation, program rollouts, etc.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and other HR presentations to various employees and leaders as needed
  • Provide data to auditors as needed, perform audits and provides input on changes to processes to ensure compliance with SOX controls
  • Partner with Payroll department to ensure accurate pay data and respective supporting documentation is provided
  • Prepare and analyze accurate reports from HR systems and provide data-driven recommendations; responsible for regulatory and compliance reporting


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
  • Typically at least 4 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a generalist or operations role 
  • Experience with HR Systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, and iCIMS
  • Strong Microsoft Office experience with an emphasis in Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Ability to handle multiple and diverse objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail with creative problem-solving skills
