Position Summary
8x8, Inc. is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst located in San Jose, CA to help drive process improvement and HR systems maintenance. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Global HR Operations and Systems, serve as a technical point-of-contact within the Human Resources team from a technical and business perspective. Provides hands-on maintenance to internal database files, tables and developing custom reports to meet the requirements of the management team and staff as well as being responsible for the administration of system updates, required changes, and system security.



Primary Responsibilities

  • Partner with HRMS users across the company to optimize utilization of HR Technology
  • Collaborate with functional SME’s to translate business requirements into HR solutions
  • Provides production support, including researching and resolving HRMS issues, unexpected results or process flaws
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors for development, maintenance, and testing of processes and interfaces for current and upcoming solutions
  • Work with business and vendors to maintain variety of schemas for multiple entities and validation tables
  • Accurately create complex queries from multiple HR databases which may require consolidation into a single report
  • Document HRMS procedures, user documentation, system updates, and maintenance
  • Evaluate and understand system security processes/changes, ensuring compliance with established security procedures and SOX controls
  • Conduct training for end-users for utilizing HR systems and workflows to maintain user empowerment
  • Remain aware of evolving trends in Human Resources and assess how they may impact systems and process including data privacy laws

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Typically at least 4 years of HR systems administration working within an HR organization
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors required; iCIMS a plus
  • Previous experience as a functional member with HR technology projects for system upgrades, enhancements, and working with cross functional project teams
  • Ability to assess situations with a systematic and business lens
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Ability to handle multiple and diverse objectives in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail with creative problem-solving skills
