    The Director- Pricing Strategy and Revenue Optimization will be responsible for the overall pricing strategy for 8x8's portfolio of new and existing products and packages. This includes defining the monetization strategy, pricing and customer adoption strategies.

     

    You will be a part of the Product Marketing team and partner closely with Product Management, Finance, Sales and others, to analyze product requirements and develop pricing proposals.

    You will have a high level of executive visibility and significant responsibility, being the subject-matter expert for pricing for all 8x8 products and packages.

     

    Responsibilities:

     

    • Define overall pricing strategy for 8x8's portfolio of new and existing products and packages
    • Collaborate on defining the monetization strategy, offer definition
    • Set price points
    • Perform analysis of results and adjust strategy as needed
    • Understand product strategy and roadmap, contribute to future definition
    • Conduct competitive analysis on pricing
    • Coordinate market research on pricing
    • Understand market and technology trends that may impact pricing strategy
    • Develop sales enablement content regarding pricing
    • Support pricing for the largest deals

    Requirements:

     

    • 5+ years of experience in pricing analysis, or similar analytical roles
    • Good understanding of SaaS pricing & licensing practices preferred
    • Experience with a global technology firm
    • Experience with a multi-tiered distribution model
    • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in influencing and negotiation across different groups
    • Superb written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly flexible and adaptive, able to multi-thread across a number of simultaneous projects
    • Team player – able to work cross-functionally
    • MBA is preferred
