    Senior Partner Programs Manager

    The Sr. Partner Program Manager will be responsible for the development, positioning and implementation of partner programs in the US and UK. Responsibilities will extend to the design and documentation of channel programs for partners in various routes to market well as the development and execution of new partner programs supporting the needs of the internal sales and channel teams revenue goals.



    • Design and structure partner engagement models and associated models to deliver against 8x8 strategy.  
    • Develop value propositions and positioning messages for partner programs
    • Work with internal teams to operationalize program framework, offers and incentives.
    • Work in collaboration with the Field Channel Management to roll out channel programs and maintain ongoing operational communication.
    • Drive the production of collateral content (presentations, program guides, and other sales tool) by leveraging internal and external resources.
    • Acquire and grow sufficient company and product knowledge to be able to create and post materials.
    • Maintain and enhance partner certification and specialization programs. Become expert in all partner certification and specialization rules and requirements.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to create programs, improve partner program processes and resolve partner program issues
    • Train partners and 8x8 channel-facing personnel on partner programs and benefits


    Qualifications (knowledge, Skills, Abilities)

    • 10+ years of program and project management experience
    • Demonstrated experience working with indirect routes to market, partnerships and alliance programs
    • Experience with channel programs and tools (ie: Platnium, Gold and Silver or Medals program, deal registration, portal)
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently under pressure, managing virtual resources and several projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
    • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Demonstrated negotiation, verbal and written communication skills
    • Advanced interpersonal skills to coordinate major activities
    • Basic Understanding of key technologies and markets, competitive forces and trends
    • Strong presentation skills and comfort level in presenting before peers and customers
    • Strong sense of initiative and detail
    • Ability to assess complex situations and provide solutions
    • Travel: as required
