    The Web Strategy and Operations team supports this mission by establishing the vision and priorities for delighting our customers and driving the business through 8x8’s web properties. This position reports to the Vice President, GTM Strategy and Marketing Operations.

    The focus of this position is to lead the thinking and deliverables on role-based web experience journeys, contribute the to the teams perspective on web technology and functionality priorities, and synthesize enterprise web strategy with data to build the story of how the web is performing across all stages of the pipeline-to-retention journey and what we need to do next. This is a highly collaborative position. Success will depend on ability to synthesize short term business needs with long term digital strategy and execute in partnership with the Product Marketing, Global Demand Generation, and Digital Marketing teams.

    Experience Strategy

    • Contribute to the 8x8.com site vision overall—the “imagine this”—keeping it continually refreshed based on evolving technical capabilities, content delivery, digital design and audience expectations
    • Research and bring an evergreen point-of-view on enterprise web best practices to the discussion
    • Push the thinking on site technology usage and the bridge between the web experience and sales process overall

    User Journeys

    • Build deep Role-based Persona Experience Requirements profiles, adding the web context to established personas and enterprise content strategy
    • Define and drive execution of user journeys, supporting role-based personas, sales segments and industries
    • Synthesize competitive insight with enterprise web strategy, persona needs and business objectives to prioritize recommendations

    Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Partner with Product Marketing (Solution and Industry) teams on web strategy for their area of responsibility and facilitate reporting through their lens
    • Work closely with cross-functional groups spanning global demand generation, digital marketing, customer success, sales, services and other business unit teams to optimize our requirements and priorities in order to drive the business and serve the customer across the Discover, Explore,  Evaluate, Use, Reinvest cycles

    Drive the Business

    • Establish metrics and analyze results to make journey and web experience optimization decisions and show impact on business objectives
    • Consistently drive the business’ priorities with the various teams responsible for executing journeys, infrastructure, analytics, and optimization
    • Prepare insights and read-outs for internal business unit reviews

    Web Operations

    • Develop an 8x8.com center of excellence educating teams and stakeholders on best practices (regardless of platform) for engagement, publishing, copywriting, analytics, Web processes, etc.
    • Mange the Web infrastructure (CMS, application integrations, environments) to ensure stability and how to scale fast while increasing capabilities to meet business and customer needs.
    • Ensure Web data and analytics are collected to appropriately inform decision making for mitigating risks, resolving issues and reporting performance.
    • Manage the day to day business requests, activities and execution that keeps 8x8.com operating to support the business and customer needs

    • Bachelor Degree (MBA preferred)
    • 8+ years significant, demonstrated experience in agency or client-side B2B enterprise marketing strategy-related work, with web emphasis or corporate .com responsibility
    • Demonstrated expertise of the enterprise tech buyer journey
    • Ability to thrive in a fast pace results oriented environment
    • Take abstract ideas and able to translate them into clear strategies and plans of execution.
    • Sharp understanding and demonstrated expertise in web strategy, including user pathing and full-journey content strategies for awareness and demand objectives as well as the overall customer experience
    • Clear and effective communicator and presentation skills
    • Demonstrated ability to drive successful outcomes through collaborative teamwork at all levels in an organization
