    We are looking to hire within our Channel Sales Enablement team.  This individual will provide sales enablement to 8x8 channel partners, including training, coaching, needs assessment, and relationship building with channel partners and internal teams.   

    Job Responsibilities:

     

    • Enablement generally consists of course curation and delivery, and live training (whether via virtual classroom or in-person)
      • serve as first point of contact for inquiries for channel training needs
      • work with sales teams to provide sales enablement to 8x8 channel partners
    • Work cross-functionally with channel sales, channel operations, sales engineering, and channel marketing to
      • perform needs analysis on content, process, and tools to maximize channel sales success
      • identify actionable initiatives and metrics
      • develop and deliver scalable enablement plans
      • partner with the channel account manager (CAM) and rest of the internal team to nurture a thriving relationship with the partner
    • Ensure that all operational aspects of channel training classes are in place
      • manage scheduling and follow up with both virtual classroom and in-person classes
      • communicate with students on process, content, and objectives
      • confirm availability of presenters and their alignment to training objectives and expectations for smooth delivery
      • confirm locations, order supplies, and catering
    • Report ROI, attendance, and survey feedback to Sales VPs/Directors and Partner Sales Managers

     

    Qualifications:

     

    • Understand basics of selling and the sales role
    • Experience in sales and/or channels preferred
    • Experience in sales training and/or instructional design preferred
    • Ability to travel 50-70% (mostly 1-3 day trips)
    • Experience should include in-person training of internal and/or partner sales people
    • Comfort and executive presence in presenting to all levels of sales (reps, managers, directors, VPs, etc..)
    • High energy, positive, outgoing personality
    • Responsive, self-motivated and action oriented
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
