    Title: Commission Analyst  - Channel Partners

    Location: San Jose, CA

    Reports to: Senior Sales Commission Analyst

     

    The Commissions Analyst will work with the Commission Team leadership, Sales Operations, Finance and other relevant groups to ensure that the channel commission plans are implemented correctly and commissions are calculated. The primary responsibilities are the calculation of monthly incentive commissions for Channel Partners focusing on accuracy, completeness and consistency as defined in the commission plans and partner agreements. The ideal candidate is analytical, deadline driven, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multitask and complete multiple deliverables in the same deadline time frame. The role reports to the Senior Sales Commission Analyst Supervisor.

     

    Responsibilities:

    • Calculate commission payments based on commission plans/affiliate/partner agreements/programs
    • Review payments/reports for accuracy
    • Contribute to the development or improvement of systems to track or capture data
    • Reconciliation of commission discrepancies and data anomalies
    • Audit commission systems and commissions related G/L accounts.
    • Research and respond to management, sales employees and Channel Partners inquiries.
    • Distribution of commission related reports to management and sales personnel
    • Assistance with internal process improvement initiatives
    • Participate in the monthly accounting close process, including both preparing and reviewing journal entries and reconciliations
    • Participate in new automated Commissions System implementations
    • Complete special projects as assigned

     

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years of relevant experience. Business/Operational experience is a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
    • Strong analytical, written/verbal communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
    • Proficient to advanced level of competency with Microsoft Excel
    • Systems knowledge and familiarity with Salesforce and Callidus or other commission software a plus.
    • Experience working with SaaS Companies is preferred
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Ability to commit to deadlines and deliver on time
