    8x8 is looking for a Demand Generation Director for the Small Business segment to lead and execute demand generation and marketing strategy for the UK and European small business sector with a special focus on new business.
    This is a highly visible role that will work across numerous departments and have a direct impact on accelerating the growth of the business.
    In this role you will own the UK GTM strategy for the small business segment. You will have a deep understanding of our prospects’ and customers’ buying behaviours and what signals indicate possible lifecycle changes. You will leverage these insights to create highly targeted campaigns to drive new business as well as upsell and cross-sell demand generation across our small business prospect and customer base.
    You must have a passion for data analytics and ability to interpret data to understand root drivers of buyer behavior. You must also be able create compelling messaging and articulate value propositions in the campaigns you develop.
    This is a hands-on role. We are looking for someone who can design as well as execute campaigns.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Own the small business marketing strategy and execution 
    • Responsible for new business demand generation working closely with our Small Business Sales Director
    • Drive and maintain overall new acquisition revenue growth through campaign management, data analysis, and vendor relationship management
    • Responsible for the key implementation and optimization of small business programs with goals to increase conversion rates within the marketing funnel
    • Manage relationships with lead vendors and other suppliers to ensure we’re getting the best ROI for our investments
    • Works closely with our Director of Digital Marketing to measure and report performance of all Small Business digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals
    • Plan, execute and measure new, successful creative routes to market including promotions and referral campaigns
    • Utilize strong analytical skillset to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across various media channels and customer touch points
    • Work with Marketo and Salesforce to ensure leads are tracked and campaigns are executed and tracked successfully. Help optimize lead scoring and nurturing models within Marketo
    • Manage budget and ROI analysis
    • Manage development of assets (e.g. emails, infographics) for demand generation campaigns
    • Establish key relationships cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Ops, Product Management, Product Marketing, and the Business Analytics team to identify and leverage key drivers of customer lifecycle changes into business development opportunities


    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience in small business marketing and demand generation preferably in SaaS environments
    • Can-do attitude. High energy and a desire to take a fast growing company to the next level.
    • Proven track record of creating and executing highly successful marketing campaigns targeting small businesses
    • Excellent interpersonal skills - communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
    • Strong business acumen, as well as strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to draw conclusions based on data
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines and objectives
    • Experience with Excel, Marketo and Salesforce a strong plus
    • Strong attention to detail
